I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I have been on the faculty since 2017. I also served as the Undergraduate Program Director from 2019 to 2022. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2017) and a BA in Economics with a minor in Statistics from Swarthmore College (2008). 

As an applied microeconomist, my main research areas are health and public economics, with current projects expanding into urban and environmental economics. My work has been published in leading academic journals, such as the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Health Economics, and the American Economic Review: Insights

I currently teach Health Economics & Policy and Economic Data Analysis & Applications, primarily for undergraduate students. Previously, I taught Econometric Methods for Big Data and PhD-level Health Economics & Policy.
