Associate Professor at RPI
I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I hold a BA from Swarthmore College and a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
I am broadly interested in applied microeconomics. My main research areas are health and public economics. My current projects also include topics in urban and environmental economics. My work has been published in leading academic journals, such as the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Health Economics, and the American Economic Review: Insights.
I teach Health Economics & Policy (undergraduate and PhD levels) and Economic Data Analysis & Applications. I previously taught Econometric Methods for Big Data.
Currently on sabbatical at Yonsei University (until June 2025)
